Goals from Andrew Shinnie and Harry Cornick saw Luton comfortably navigate their way into the second round of the FA Cup by defeating fellow League One side Wycombe.
The hosts almost led inside three minutes, with Cornick pouncing on Joe Jacobson's under-hit backpass before shooting straight at goalkeeper Ryan Allsop, while Fred Onyedinma came closest for the visitors, nodding over the bar.
Elliot Lee sent a free-kick wide but Luton had the lead four minutes before half-time when Shinnie curled a left-footed strike into the bottom corner from 25 yards.
James Collins saw his goal ruled out for offside moments later, while early in the second period, Sonny Bradley's header was cleared off the line by Dominic Gape.
Wanderers missed a great chance after 57 minutes as Gape side-footed wide when well placed, before Town almost added a second when Glen Rea headed wide from a corner.
Luton had breathing space after 71 minutes, though, as Adam El-Abd's bizarre backheel was perfect for Cornick to burst into the area and find the bottom corner to send Nathan Jones' side through.
