Palace are still lacking in one key department. They need a decent stadium. Now they have planning permission, they need to get on with it.
Swap stoke for cardiff .... lol now you sad gooners
Stoke good riddance - if Huddersfield go down as well that would be great.
Any team that persists with Diouf up front when they are struggling with goals deserves to be relegated. He is not good enough for the Premiership, but will no doubt find himself another well-paid job at another club, like the mercenary that he and most other footballers are. Butland, Shawcross and Crouch apart, and maybe Shaquiri, how many of those players actually cared about being relegated?
Get Phil the power Taylor to manage them he's out of work and lives local
@113 re: the Shawcross/Ramsay incident “Shawcross was fouled immediately before by an Arsenal player which contributed to the impact with Ramsay“That’s another I can add to the gems I’ve heard from Stoke fans at work - “it was a good tackle”, “there was no contact”, “Ramsay could just as easily have broken Shawcross’s leg”.
why all the snide comments about the city of Stoke, thought it was a football forum, just saying.
This has been coming for Stoke for ages, the signs were there in the last half of the 2016-17 season. Even though I'm a Vale fan I've got a few Lardie mates and I said before the season started that if they kept Hughes they'd get relegated, yet keep him they did and also let him waste money on a scale to rival Mike Tyson. Wimmer, Imbula & Berahino-goals circa £48m says it all.
Well, goodbye Stoke, can't say I'll miss you, and congrats to Palace. As for the remaining clubs fighting for survival, I sort of hope for the West Brom miracle. It would e a small measure of vindication over the Saido Berahino saga, but what Darren Moore has done deserves accolades. Even if they go down, I think he should be given the full time position.
@88 PaulGet Shelvey in asap. At least he will do something different. Please No. The different thing that Shelvey is most likely to do is get sent off. Anybody banned for racial abuse should never play for England.
Lambert is a disaster waiting to happen for any club that employs him. How a fool like him ends up managing what was a Premiership club is one of the great mysteries of the modern game.
The great Houdini couldn't have stopped that shower of players going down. Can't point finger at Manager - and those stats of a 7% win rate speak nothing of the turnaround we had in attitude in the last 15 games. We just had a knack of getting draws in the face of victory. We are a striker and solid midfielder away from making a real go at bouncing back.
A 7% win rate by Lambert ........ gosh. Welcome to league one Stoke next year.
