AFC Wimbledon 3-1 Charlton Athletic

AFC Wimbledon reached the FA Cup third round as two second-half Lyle Taylor goals won the London derby against fellow League One side Charlton Athletic.

The Dons led on 10 minutes from Cody McDonald's left-foot finish from eight yards into an unguarded net, fed by Deji Oshilaja after Charlton had made a mess of clearing Barry Fuller's ball in from the right.

But the Addicks equalised when Mark Marshall's fast, low cross from the right picked out a first-time finish from inside the six-yard box from Karlan Ahearne-Grant.

Charlton almost went ahead on 49 minutes when Dons goalkeeper George Long somehow managed to claw a deflected Jay Dasilva shot onto the woodwork - and Josh Magennis then blasted the rebound over.

However, McDonald shrugged off a challenge before racing into the box and squaring for Taylor to put the Dons back in front on 70 minutes - and their second-round victory was complete 11 minutes from time.

Andy Barcham was adjudged to have been brought down by Anfernee Dijksteel - and Taylor scored from the spot.
