Premier League predictions: Lawro v actor Will Ferrell

BBC Sport expert Mark Lawrenson

The Premier League returns with a bang on Saturday lunchtime with the north London derby, but who will come out on top between Arsenal and Tottenham at Emirates Stadium?

BBC Sport football expert Mark Lawrenson says: "A few years ago, I would have picked Arsenal pretty much every time to win this game, but those days are gone.

"At the moment, Tottenham, with the players they have, are a better team than Arsenal, However, Arsene Wenger's side are at home, which is a big advantage."

Lawro is going for a 1-1 draw - do you agree? You can make your own predictions now, take on Lawro and other fans, create your own league and try to make it to the top of the table by playing the new-look BBC Sport Predictor game.

Newcastle to shock Man Utd 10-0 - Will Ferrell's predictions

Star of Daddy's Home 2 Ferrell was spotted at numerous Premier League games last season, although he is concerned he might not be welcome back at Anfield after attending a 3-2 defeat by Swansea in January.

"Last season I was at a Manchester United game, a Liverpool match and a Chelsea match. All very exciting," he said.

"I think I will never be invited back to Anfield because it was the historic day Liverpool lost to Swansea at home for the first time."

Ferrell is a minority owner of new American MLS team Los Angeles FC, and hopes they will make one big-name signing.

"I'd love to sign Pele. I don't care how old he is. Just to have his football knowledge on the pitch is incredible," he said.

The Brazil legend and three-time World Cup winner is 77.
