Who the hell does this overrated bald fraud think he is complaining about the match ball. As soon as Citeh start bottling it, this fragile egomaniac will start sulking and the collapse will begin. I yearn for the day when we are rid of these pretentious foreign coaches with their tippy-tappy football like Josep Guardiola and Norbert Klopp; maybe we can regain the soul of the English game.
@259 - Timing!
255:My Dad worked at United and had quite a bit to do with Matt Busby. He (my Dad) couldn't stand the sight of him - 'a real nasty piece of work'. Busby did put on a good 'front', but apparently a lot of the credit he was given was due to the work of Jimmy Murphy.
That Spurs ay? 2-0 up and no squealing about the ball. Keep the excuses coming Pep, best laugh I've had in ages.
I can easily tell the City fans on here that are pre dinar/badge change/stadium swap, they don't get too giddy with a 8 year history of modern MCity. The ones that still long for the Maine Road MCity. It's inevitable when the curve upwards is as sharp as City's you get the new breed of bandwagon fans. We had them,Chelsea Arsenal had them and Spurs will too, with there move to the new ground.
"The ball was impossible to score with" Try telling that to Jesse Lingard. If Mourinho had said that the press would have had a field day......
@1 sad little troll getting his f.o.s comments removed.Wow the all conquering city steamrollered Wolves didn't they troll brat.
#88. TonyNot ALL ManUre teams were "nasty"! As a Manchester CITY fan, of almost 50 years' duration, I remember meeting one of the finest men, EVER, to grace the game, - the legendary ALEXANDER MATTHEW BUSBY, K.T., in the "Onion Patch" boardroom. He was a perfect GENTLEMAN, - and, I remember him with great fondness and respect, to this day.
Impossible to score with that ball, they scored four times from the penalty spot!? If it was the Mitre Cannon Ball I would have sympathy!
"I mean we've (City) just cemented yet another club record - namely 12 WINS (all Comps) ON TROT."Erm... did you not draw 0-0? I'm sure somebody with a betting slip will tell us.
City's performance vs Stoke was super and all the more meritorious given that United were lucky to draw at Stoke.However, if the mitre ball was used is City's 7-2 victory does ANYONE in their right mind think Pep would have mentioned it?Pep, you've got them playing very well, but just button it when it doesn't quite work out. It IS embarrassing!
@240 & 243In consecutive posts you quote United chalking up 4-0 wins against bottom sides as impressive but dismiss City's 7-2 demolition as it was only against Stoke.How about the 5-0 v Liverpool (who Jose bottled it against) and the away win at Chelsea?United will drop at least 4 points in their next 2 matches, both will probably be 0-0 bores. But your lot will be happy with that.
