194. VanDiesil What will happen is that Utd will see how the recovery goes & sign him if fit ===I think you're right and it will be good business for both parties. At his age MU can't take the risk of signing him now, not knowing how his injury will pan out.Does this mean that Rooney may have a stay of execution for 6 months? He's said he won't take a cut in pay, he needs every penny.
What will happen is that Utd will see how the recovery goes & sign him if fit & not showing any rust (as an out of contract free agent so don't have to be in transfer window), so not paying his wages for another year in hope he recovers. I don't think any team would take the risk.
Man U fans getting knickers in twists
It may seem harsh but that is professional footballHe has been superb this season a model pro but age & a career threatening injury do not help towards gaining another mega contractThanks for coming & if full fitness can be regained welcome back on a short term contractA few more need to be culled before the end of the close season
I am really disappointed with all the unfaithfull attacks on Ibra. Ibra brought in to the MU an outstanding high spirit and showed a fantastic loyality. He gave everything he had to his team mates. I think that a genuine footballer like Ibra deserves more appriciation from us. Ibra will most likely move on in the football world, but we must admitt that we were unfair to this legend.
188. nosher Cast aside as unwanted now he is injured ===You know because you're his agent?
My team had a player who ruptured his ACL at the end of the season before last, his contract was about to expire but he got a year extension and support through his rehab. He was released at the end of last season but has already found a new club. I know that Zlat plays at a far higher level, a year on no wages might not render him homeless or hungry, but I prefer the approach of my club.
Cast aside as unwanted now he is injured
Rumour has it, he will stay in Manchester to recover, and re sign in Jan pending his fitness is good. Two Zlatan unveilings by re signing him is great for marketing and promotion, he can recover at his own pace, and if Rooney really can't be bothered, then he can be flogged to China in Jan. Idealistic I know, but one can only hope. ABU's - still here I see. Thought you didn't care about Utd?
184. Man Utd are BACK WHERE THEY BELONG IN 6th LOLWe've got Ben Woodburn, we don't need Zlatan. He would never get a game-Woodburns only played 5 times [no, not that 5x] not like he gets a game now.Woodburn: Striker from Chester, pulled out of this weeks game injured. All LFC have to do is rush him back from injury too soon thus ruining his later years and he's the new Michael Owen.
184Don't damage control, you said he'd played for all the biggest teams. But fair enough you might have forgot LFC were once an unstoppable trophy winning team [most have] or subconsciously you know they're not a big team. Unless no trophies since 06 counts as a big club I'd say you know. Ben who? Shouldn't you be bigging up Solanke right now? He's the new La Tallec you know.
@183 We've got Ben Woodburn, we don't need Zlatan. He would never get a game. That's the ONLY reason we are the only big team in world football he hasn't played for. The ONLY reason.
179. Man Utd are BACK WHERE THEY BELONG IN 6th LOLIbra has played and succeededat all the biggest teams in the world-------Given your generic ceaseless trolling, with you most likely being a 'fan' of LFC, CFC or MCFC am I take it you're admitting the team you support isn't a big team as he's played for neither?Next time think it through, your MUFC obsession is clouding your judgement.
I suppose Marcus "averages a goal every 27 games" Rashford is going to pick up the slack now eh? Priceless. Just when you thought they couldn't get any more cluless, long may it continue.
@153.Wrong! Ibrahimovic came to United from PSG NOT Real Madrid.Get your facts right before posting.
