Chris, You are great. Newcastle treated you so badly. Make sure your position at Brighton is water tight. If not move on, because many clubs will want you
Well done to the soppy Seagulls! Hope you can maintain it in the EPL. It's good to have a Sussex team in the top flight, after so many absent years! Please stay up long enough for my beloved Wombles to join you there....just imagine in 3-4 years time AFC Wimbledon, BHAFC and CPFC all in the top flight together...I can but dream! :)Big congrats again to the soppy Seagulls!! :)
How refreshing and heartening to see so many supporters of other clubs, particularly Newcastle, offering congratulations to Brighton. To be able to recognise the achievement of Brighton and be so generous is wonderful and more than makes up for the few with less pleasant comments. Thank you all, may your clubs also have days of joy and achievement too in the future.
congratulations to brighton and chris hughton who was unfairly dismissed at newcastle wouldn't it be ironic if newcastle didn't make it with them i hope they do for rafa benitez
Huge congrats to BHFC ! As a CPFC fan hoping we can secure our Premier League status and renew our rivalry with the Seagulls next season. No doubt Glenn Murray willl feature prominently if this happens, great servant to both clubs.
Well done Brighton, a class act this season and you've dealt with the pressure really well. Shades of Leicester last year in the style of play, solid at the back, a maverick winger and an unfashionable striker banging 20+ goals in. Brilliant on the counter attack the times I've watched you this season.Going to be a cracking match at the Lane, welcome to the Premier League from a Spurs fan.
Congratulations to BHA. A real good new week with Plymouth and Pompey both getting promotion too. Just goes to show there is life after idiot owners...
Congratulations CH & Brighton. Another great football story. Dreams do come true. (From a Leicester fan).
Another NUFC fan saying well done to Brighton and Chris Hughton. Pretty sure the title is yours too. We are more concerned with not finishing third than finishing first.
Bit cynical, BBC, putting that 44% go straight down thing on... if you want to start playing stats,it seems that this season, 66.67% of the teams that got promoted last season will go down.. so what does that say for next season, I'm not a Brighton fan, but try to show some positivity for a team that does not fall within your usual clutch of North West & London sweethearts. CH, good lad!
@224Wow, talk about a sweeping generalization, Fat Mick.I don't know (or care about) who you support, but I reckon you're all a bunch of overweight, homophobic t***pots. Well done, Brighton!
@224 Chris Houghton is mixed race, not black, Brighton do not have a largely based gay following, but if they did so what and there are lots of people who are not middle class. Before making anymore stupid comments use that one brain cell you have.
As a Palace fan very disappointed at BHA promotion but have to say well done. Looking forward to playing them next season.
I think this is brilliant, especially for Chris Hughton. If they play the same style of attacking football they will attract a lot of fans...although defensively they might need to buy someone with a bit of experience.Lets all hope they do well :-)
Well done Brighton. There's still hope for 'proper' community based clubs.
Well done Brighton from yet another Ncle fan!. We might be playing sland and boro next season at this rate, always the same!, moan, whine, complain!, typical Ncle!
