Shakespear the glue at Leicester City? well they are going through a sticky period.
Just watched the start of The PL Show. I agree with Lineker and others....too much blame put on the manager. Its players who win or lose games, who put effort in or not. "Professional" footballers should give 100% every minute they are employed....they earn massive sums of money. It's too easy to blame the manager for their lack of professionalism. LCFC players aren't the first or last to do this!
Claudio created one of the great stories in football history, he restored my faith in the beautiful game. Now the selfish, greedy, disloyal Leicester players have destroyed the legend. Prem players are all the same - fueled by greed.Time for change, no season ticket next year, I'm going to find something to do that doesn't make me feel like I'm just being exploited to fund millionaire lifestyles.
So some of you think Leicester should be relegated because their players are deficient in some sort of morality? Since when did anyone support a team because of its moral values? The thugs, crooks and morons in blue shirts are no different to the thugs, crooks and morons in red shirts as they bite, scratch, kick, spit and elbow their way through 90 mins. It's football, not songs of praise.
I believe it would be a disgraceful decision to shove Shakespeare to the side and bring in Roy Hodgson.' IF' it's true that the players had their say, then ask them if they would like Shakespeare to stay in charge. Even if only until the end of the season. Then review not panic.
Im expecting a load of downvotes on this comment. But despite what everyone else is saying, I really want Leicester to stay up now. I think it was a disgraceful decision to sack Ranieri but that doesn't mean everyone wants them to go down for it.
If it wasn't for their great fans, I would want Leicester to take the drop. OK level players being paid a fortune thanks to Ranieri did the dirty on him. Only top top class was Kante as he protected an ageing defense. I trully fear for the fans if establishment man Roy gets the position. Boring football at its worst.
The English media yet again prove how they think they sit top of the tree in football. For years they have tried to manipulate every situation, threatening that they will print what they want if you don't cooperate, whilst claiming that they only reflect what fans want??!'Hodgson, like Klopp, is a media darling so they're now pushing him for the Leicester job! I'm no LCFC fan but surely no!!!
‘Criticism fired them up.’ What a load of disingenuous rubbish. Leicester have been heavily criticized by pundits galore for months now and it never fired them up. It was the departure of Ranieri that fired them up because he’d lost the magic touch, the chemistry & team spirit of last season and the dressing room.
Roy Hodgson for the next manager??? And what's worse is the praise he is getting from the incrowd/pundits, whatever they are. He will be good for Leicester, is what I heard. With all his experience?? Yes, it worked for England didn't it?
Wondering who Liverpool will buy from Southampton this season...
Is it state the obvious month again. or state the obvious year?
@378 I never contradicted myself at all I never said I was the Man U fan ... I said and I quote"a Man U fan". That is your aim when you come here to annoy and get one over on them do not try and twist what I said to say what I didnt say. I do not qualify for two big reasons the first being that I am not a ManU fan, the second is that you are not capable of getting one over on me try as you might.
@377. Rumplestilzchen You think you're smart, like the team you support you overrate yourself and everyone else thinks your a little bit pathetic and laughs at you.Dreary
