Burnley had all 11 starters born in the British Isles . Wow.
If a tree falls in this comment section, does it make a sound?
Scrappy game, but great result for the Clarets. The ref was pathetic - inconsistent and petty, didn't try to keep it flowing.Impressive away support I have to say.
I only watched the highlights but it was one of the worst games of football I have ever seen. Do people in Burnley pay to watch this tripe?
Big game at the weekend,a win over Sunderland will build a nine point cushion over the bottom three.People keep on about 40 points Minimum,i think that will be more than enough this season. If Burnley win and the bottom two dont,we will be at the halfway point and none of the bottom three will have more than fourteen points.
Burnley reaches the 20 point mark in 18 games. They look much more settled than the likes of Sunderland, Swansea, Hull & possibly Boro, I am sure they would they would stay up this season banking on their home form.Somehow think Watford would join the relegation dogfight even though they are in a solid position now.
Scrappy encounter in awful conditions, draw would probably have been about fair, but thankfully,we sneaked it. I hope boro stop up though, played some decent stuff today and I like Ramirez but not his antics, and there fans never stopped singing today reminding me of the days when grounds had an atmosphere. Both sides need to strengthen in January and hopefully do enough to stop up.
We need to score goals and fast.I know, lets leave our resident crossword puzzle cum great goal scorer out again! The sooner we get a decent manager who can use all the players at his disposal the better.Well done Burnley for never giving up!
An all round great football club. Burnley will stay up and rightly so.
It's Karanka who needs to learn, and fast.
