Guernsey FC manager Tony Vance says a number of the club's young players have the chance to stake their claims for a place in the side.
Eighteen-year-old Thomas Dodds scored the winner for Guernsey against East Grinstead Town on Saturday - his first goal for the club.
Meanwhile, youngsters Paris Pereira and Liam Mahon were on the bench.
"There's a real youthful excitement coming forward, I just want them to buy into it," Vance told BBC Guernsey.
The win saw Guernsey move up to 17th place in Isthmian League Division One South.
"I'm delighted for Tom Dodds, he's been a revelation this season and we haven't had many," added Vance.
"We had loads of options and this is what I've been crying out for and wanting, and I want that to continue throughout the season.
"You've got Paris and Liam on the bench, two young lads that should be in this environment and should be pushing themselves.
"When Paris came on I thought he was outstanding, and Kyle on there and Tom Dodds.
"Robbie Legg's not far away. We've just signed Charlton Gauvain up, who at some point will come into this."
