The New Saints 4-0 Airbus UK Broughton: The New Saints became the first side to win 16 consecutive Welsh Premier League games in a season as a storming fisrt half performance gifted them victory against Airbus UK Broughton.

Jon Routledge scored twice while Aeron Edwards and Scott Quigley both got on the scoresheet before the break as the Saints broke Bangor City's record of 15-straight wins in 2010-11.

Airbus slipped to the bottom of the league following the defeat.

Aberystwyth Town 1-3 Bala Town: Bala Town made easy work of beating Aberystwyth Town as they ran out 3-1 winners under temporary floodlights at Park Avenue.Weather damage caused the postponement of Aberystwyth's game against Cefn Druids in the week.

The hosts were 2-0 down in the first half after Mike Hayes and Lee Hunt both scored before Kurtis March pulled a goal back after the break but John Irving's 93rd-minute goal sealed victory for Bala.

Cefn Druids 1-0 Newtown: Cefn Druids ended a five-game winless run as Adam Hesp's dramatic late goal gifted them three points against fellow strugglers Newtown.

The victory moved Cefn Druids out of the relegation zone at the expense of Newtown.

Rhyl 1-2 Gap Connah's Quay: Second-placed Gap Connah's Quay came from behind to seal victory against Rhyl on Friday.

Zyaac Edwards gave the hosts the lead with 14 minutes played but Leslie Davies and Tom Field ensured Connah's Quay seized all three points.
