O'Neill distances himself from Scotland job

Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill says he hasn't given a second thought to speculation linking him with the Scotland manager's job.

The Scots' 3-0 defeat by England at Wembley has ramped up the pressure on current boss Gordon Strachan while O'Neill's stock continues to rise after guiding Northern Ireland to the Euro 2016 finals.

His team are also second in their World Cup qualifying group and play Croatia in a friendly at Windsor Park on Tuesday night, their last game until playing Norway in March 2017.

"The fact I live in Scotland is probably a bigger driving factor of that [speculation] than anything else," said O'Neill.

"I haven't given a second thought to that at all. I'd rather not comment on that situation."
