Andy Mangan: Tranmere Rovers re-sign Shrewsbury Town striker for undisclosed fee
National League side Tranmere Rovers have re-signed Shrewsbury Town striker Andy Mangan for an undisclosed fee.
The 30-year-old has agreed a deal at Prenton Park until the summer of 2018.
Mangan scored seven goals in 22 league games for Tranmere before starting a second spell at Shrewsbury, then managed by Micky Mellon, in January.
The ex-Wrexham and Fleetwood forward has now been reunited with Mellon, who left the League One club and then became Tranmere boss in October.
Young striker Ethan Jones, who had been on loan at Tranmere, has been recalled by new Town boss Paul Hurst but will not feature in Saturday's FA Cup tie against Barnet.
