Philippe Montanier: Nottingham Forest manager aims for top-10 finish
Nottingham Forest head coach Philippe Montanier says he is aiming for a top-10 finish in the Championship.
The Reds are 19th in the table, just three points clear of the relegation zone, and have won only once in their last 10 matches.
Montainer told BBC East Midlands Today: "Most important is our position in May not November, but we are disappointed about this position.
"At this moment, our ambition and target is to finish in the top 10."
Forest won three matches in August but have only defeated Birmingham since, beating Blues 3-1 at home on 14 October.
"Of course I am frustrated and disappointed," continued Montanier. "Sometimes I am angry as we lose by just one goal and we've made individual mistakes.
"But I know what the team can do and I am optimistic. We have to progress step by step."
