Truro City: Lee Hodges pleased with improvement after Eastbourne draw
Truro City boss Lee Hodges says he is pleased with the improvement in his side after their 2-2 draw with Eastbourne Borough at Treyew Road.
Having gone a goal down, Louis Rooney and Niall Thompson struck in the second half to give City the lead before conceding a late equaliser.
The draw came after heavy losses in their previous two games.
"It's disappointing not to get all three points, but we stopped the rot from the two performances," he said.
"I'm pleased that the boys showed the character to get their noses in front and it was just disappointment that we're going through a slump, as we dropped off a bit deeper.
"We were panicking a little bit because everyone wants to win a game and they managed to equalise, but for me it is a positive point and the Truro City I like to see."
