Walter Zenga has Wolves squad's full support - Dave Edwards
Head coach Walter Zenga has the full support of his Wolves squad despite a run of five league matches without a win, says midfielder Dave Edwards.
Saturday's 1-0 home defeat by Leeds left Wolves 18th in the Championship.
"I can guarantee that every single player is behind the manager," Wales international Edwards told BBC WM. "I don't think the answer is from outside of what we've got already."
Zenga took charge at Molineux seven days before the start of the season.
Edwards, 30, continued: "He's not been here very long, he's got the team playing in a more attacking way, and although we've conceded a few goals we, in general, look a lot more solid.
"What he's done in a short time has been good, but it's down to the players to turn that into points. That lies with us, not the manager."
Former Italy goalkeeper Zenga is in his first managerial role in English football.
His side took eight points from their first four league matches, but have claimed only eight from the following 10 games.
Zenga held a private meeting with his players following the Leeds game and was pleased with their response.
"Sometimes it's important that you're not talking between coach and player, but between man and man," Zenga told BBC WM. "The response was important."
