Truro City: Manager Lee Hodges still hoping to add to squad
Truro City manager Lee Hodges says he is still hoping to improve his squad.
The White Tigers signed former Eastleigh player-manager Chris Todd on a short-term deal last week as they aim to reverse form that has seen them win just twice since the middle of August.
But Hodges, whose side are 17th in National League South, says he will not bring in players he cannot afford.
"We aren't going to overspend and be stupid because that's not the club we are," he told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"It's not easy to find the talent that you want at the right cost," he added.
"You have to keep looking and when I find the right personnel I speak to the chairman. The chairman's done great to get me Chris Todd in, I'm really pleased about that.
"I've asked him 'can you help me get somebody in' and we've gone and done it.
"He helps me out, he's fine, there's no problem there and if there's something there that we think 'we can do it' we'll do it at the right price."
