Burton Albion make £162,000 profit in 2015-16 season
Burton's promotion-winning season from League One brought a profit of £162,372 for the year ending 31 May, 2016.
Crowds increased by 33% during the 2015-16 campaign, with a 66% rise in commercial activity and the sale of Nasser El Khayati to QPR helping post a turnover of £4.24m.
Chairman Ben Robinson said: "The accounts show the club has continued to enjoy success while being run soundly.
"Staff in all areas continue to work hard and produce excellent results."
The Brewers are playing in the second tier of English football for the first time in their history after back-to-back promotions.
Robinson added: "Following promotion to League One, we invested in the playing squad in order to produce a team capable of performing at the higher level and achieved a second consecutive promotion."
