Brighton & Hove Albion manager Chris Hughton says the international break is a mixed blessing for his club.
The Seagulls are fourth in the Championship after winning 2-1 at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday and are now unbeaten in five matches.
Hughton told BBC Sussex: "I think when you have momentum you want to keep it going, but it's demanding with Saturday, midweek, Saturday.
"I think most of us welcome the break and it allows you to recharge."
Brighton are next in action on 15 October when they host Preston, before the visit of Wolves three days later.
"The break allows you to do some of the work and have some of the meetings you are not able to have," continued Hughton.
"It would be nice to not have this break but we have to make sure we make the most of it."
