Karl Robinson: Manager bemoans MK Dons 'poor decision-making'

MK Dons manager Karl Robinson has questioned his side's judgment in their 3-1 defeat by Bury on Tuesday.

The Dons have won once in seven league games following relegation from the Championship last season and are 14th in League One.

Robinson told BBC Three Counties Radio: "It's not a tactical thing, not a desire thing, not a lack of application. It's poor decision-making.

"I can't believe it. It was a smash and grab. Good play by them, poor from us."

MK Dons went behind against the run-of-play after a mistake at the back by Paul Downing and Robinson wants to see his players' decision-making improve.

"What can we do? That's Paul's error, an individual error. He's got to learn from it he wants to a better player," Robinson added.

"I can't ask for anymore effort, quicker ball movement and chances."

"What have we done to deserve this? I think somebody's smashed a few mirrors in the hotel or a few cats have been running the place."

The Dons face a trip to struggling side Oldham on Saturday who are 19th in League One and winless in seven games.
