My team would be 11 players born in Manchester! Or even England? Or the United Kingdom? The Commonwealth?Okay then everyone pick 11 mercenaries who only care about getting an annual wage every week....
So much hype around this game. Definitely going to finish a 0-0.
Never mind the Glazer's cash cow, support your local team, FC United of Manchester , owned and run by the fans, for the benefit of the fans.
Well I will pick my team and see how ye all rate it!. No room for Rooney(Shocker)De Gea Shaw - Stones - Kompany - Sagna Silva - Pogba - De Bruyne - Martial Aguero - ZlatanBench: Bravo Mata Nolito Rashford Smalling Sterling Zabaleta
Remind me what MC achieved last season; they finished 4th on goal difference - an absolute disgrace for a club of their size and given the amount of money they'd spent on players. They beat LFC on penalties in the LC Final - what an achievement !!! And they don't look much better this season. The future of Manchester is blue. About as much as the earth is flat!
All time Manchester Eleven.SchmiechelIrwinStamPallisterRobsonRonaldoScholesCharltonKeaneLaw BestI can't leave Robson out so he goes left back.Good enough to beat any team...ever.
Slightly ironic as you are on here KEMPO?
Football is rubbish. Not sure why any of you care. Maybe do some work instead of being on here all day!
Utd are going to get slapped about by Pep's sky blue dream team. I am making a bold prediction: 4-0 to City. Really Utd are an average team with an average manager
oh well another season of dross from the BBC "sports writers and experts"...expect at least 2 ManU/ManC articles a day. time both clubs stopped sponsoring the BBC and its writers
Knowing the way football works, and the way this game has been hyped up to a stupid level, it will probably be a 0-0 draw.
@281 words…you’re not allowing for any of the romance!Tuert was brilliant, I didn’t really care how many England caps he had. Ditto for Stepney, great distribution, the first Man U keeper I knew and always my favourite, ahead of your choices, and Frank Swift. Keane ahead of Robson, you’re having a laugh! I thought Edwards played in midfield, but you’re right, he would have a shout
Dear BBC. Could you please let us Have Our Say on the "Champions League: Uefa 'afraid' of big clubs, say European leagues" article? Then we could have a grown up say rather than this childish excercise of mixing up the two Manchester teams. Yours sincerely, A. Grownup.
