60. JBased on what assumption? & how do you think his game is suited to the way Man City play?A coach signs players that suit his style. You'd never see Pep signing Rooney for example as he hasn't got the game to suit Pep's style. Bony is the same, hence why Pep shipped him out straight away. Yaya was great for Pell but isn't a Pep player, hence why he's not playing. It's clear to see.
The reason for Swansea's decline lies at the door of the Chairman who is in charge of transfers. Quality has been allowed to go with mediocrity as replacements. The transfer window is too far away to save us.
@ 56. BarmyArmyI couldn't disagree more. Bony's problem (as with many others), is between his ears. That's the kind of thing scouts have always had the severest problem assessing.
@9 "Stoke are only 3 points behind Man United."More to the point, United under Mourinho are just 8 points above the drop zone.
@6 "Barry Chuckle" - am guessing that is your attempt at humour? Stoke started with 6 Brits and even you can figure out 6>5. When Crouch and Walters came on, Stoke had 8 Brits on the pitch, I think most PL teams would struggle to match that.As for 1 "the truth", your ignorance is baffling. Presumably you thought football was founded in 1992.
How are those foreign owners looking Swansea?Always was going to end in tears. Swansea looked clueless last night in the second half.
55. JLike Joe Hart is talented but isn't talented enough for Pep? Maybe Joe refused to adjust?Talent alone doesn't mean that a player can adjust. Mata is talented but he wasn't talented enough to play the way Jose wanted the CFC team to play on his return. The list of players is endless. A team wouldn't buy a slow winger if they were playing counter attacking football.
Bony is talented enough to adjust to his team's style of play, but much to other's chagrin, he won't. There's the rub.
**Editorial Objective Suggestion**Insted of all these HYS's why not:-"BRING BACK THE 606 FORUM MESSAGEBOARDS"Where we can discuss any Voetbal topic we would like. Therefore all fans would get to discuss any important parts of the game they wished.Any Support for this?Lets ask the BBC with our **Qwerty Keyboards** for the old 606 FORUMS!
Apologies to Swans and Stoke fans to hijack your HYS.Only because (no disrespect) there is a more emotive issue about the Poppy situation, but no place today for HYS.The constraints and decisions forced on our country has become a joke.No more free speech, can't say this, or that it is like communism now. Only UK.LEST WE FORGET everyone should wear them and remember why!Good win Stoke.
50. Wilkinson BThrowing a bit of Shakespeare in there, why not! I think Man City took one look at Bony & thought - "he's the flavour of the month, sign him now or risk losing him to another PL team!" Deal was done & Bony was playing in a team that was the polar opposite to what his natural game is. Lets face facts, he's no Aguero!
Bony's a good player but he needs regular games (for fitness) and regular goals (for confidence). He was never going to be anything other than a back up striker at City, meaning he got neither of the above, so it was a poor choice to buy him. Throw in a couple of injuries and illness and it was a disaster. Could be a bargain for Stoke if they can hang on to him.
