Uefa Women's Champions League: Cardiff Met 2-3 Spartak Subotica

Cardiff Met players celebrate last season's Welsh Premier Women's League win
Cardiff Met have won the Welsh Premier Women's League for the past three seasons

Cardiff Met's hopes of making the Uefa Women's Champions League knock-out stages were dealt a blow as they lost to Serbian side Spartak Subotica.

The hosts' Lily Agg gave them the lead and took them ahead again after Alex Quincey levelled for Subotica.

But Tseng Shu-O and Tijana Filipovic struck to seal the Group 3 win.

The Archers began their campaign with a convincing 4-0 win over NSA Sofia on Tuesday while Spartak Subotica drew 1-1 against Breidablik of Iceland.

The group will be settled in Sunday's final round of games on Sunday with only the table-toppers going through.

Cardiff Met will host Breidablik - the group leaders - at their Cyncoed base while Subotica face bottom side NSA Sofia at the same venue.
