Steve Davis: Crewe boss urges his side to keep their concentration late into games
Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis says his side needs to stay focused in the final stages of games in order to avoid conceding late goals.
Davis' side were winning 3-1 against Hartlepool but conceded twice in four minutes late on to earn just a point.
"We have to put up with a little bit of switching off and concentration losses on things defensively," Davis said.
"There are still some things that I think that we can improve on with [decision making]."
Three of the four goals the Railwaymen have conceded this season have come in the final 20 minutes and Davis wants his side to improve their reactions.
"That's what I want all the players to be, I want them to be decisive in what they do, I don't want them to stutter, I want them to make good decisions," Davis told BBC Radio Stoke.
"If [the players] can excite and attack then they rest of us are going to enjoy watching them."
