Manager Paul Tisdale says Exeter City do not deserve to be without any points after three League Two games.

Josh Yorwerth's late goal helped Crawley Town to a 1-0 win at St James Park on Tuesday, leaving the Grecians bottom of the table.

"The way we've played over three games, we've certainly deserved to get a point or two," Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon.

"It's the way football is sometimes, you've got to keep faith with what you're doing and trust each other."

The only bright point to Exeter's injury-hit season so far has been a 1-0 upset of Championship side Brentford in the first round of the EFL Cup.

"It's frustrating, but you've just got to keep with it," Tisdale added. "We had one or two very good chances and didn't take them, and that's what happens.

"We've got to try to relax, there was no want of effort, there were one or two tired bodies out there but I'm sure Crawley had one or two as well.

"We haven't got a lot of strength in depth at the moment with injuries, so those players just have to get back in there again on Saturday and raise their game again."
