Manchester United's Northern Ireland defender Paddy McNair is being linked with a move to Sunderland.

Reports suggest new Sunderland boss David Moyes is set to sign the Ballyclare man and another Manchester United youngster Donald Love.

McNair, 21, did not make his United debut until after the ending of Moyes' short reign at Old Trafford.

The defender featured in Northern Ireland's Euro 2016 games against Poland and Ukraine in June.

McNair was hoping to be part of the plans of new United boss Jose Mourinho but now appears set to leave Old Trafford.

The Northern Ireland defender has made 24 appearances for United and play 11 times for his country.
