Nauris Bulvitis: Plymouth Argyle's Latvia defender awaiting international clearance
Plymouth Argyle's Latvian defender Nauris Bulvitis is still awaiting international clearance to play, 41 days after joining the League Two side.
The 29-year-old joined the Pilgrims at the end of June after leaving Latvian top-tier side Spartaks Jurmala.
"The hold up's been at their end, we're just waiting for clarity and hopefully we'll get that as soon as possible," Adams told BBC Radio Devon.
"We're still waiting to hear back and hopefully we'll get a conclusion soon."
Bulvitis had to sit out Argyle's opening game of the season - a 3-0 loss at home to Luton Town.
Plymouth remain hopeful that clearance will be received in time for Bulvitis to make his debut in the first round of the EFL Cup against Championship side Reading on Tuesday.
