Midfielder David Kee moves to Coleraine in initial one-season loan deal
Linfield midfielder David Kee has agreed an initial season-long loan deal to Coleraine, with the prospect of a permanent switch to the club to follow.
The 28-year-old has agreed to sign for the Ballycastle Road outfit once his current contract with the Blues expires.
Coleraine manager Oran Kearney has handed the former Ballinamallard player the captain's armband.
"I'm over the moon to bring David to the club," said Kearney.
"He has a huge pedigree and a wealth of experience, and is a different type of midfielder to that we have at the club at the moment.
"He has a great left foot and excellent delivery from set pieces, which will be a big asset to us.
"David wants to play and that played a big part in his decision to come here," added the Coleraine boss.
Kearney had already added striker Gary Twigg and defender Gareth McConaghie to his squad for the forthcoming season, while Howard Beverland has moved to Crusaders and Ruairi Harkin to Cliftonville.
They kick off their Premiership campaign at home to Portadown on Saturday.
