Midfielder Eric Foley joins Glentoran on two-year deal
Glentoran have signed former Drogheda United midfielder Eric Foley on a two-year deal.
The 26-year-old, who started his career in the Celtic youth set-up, has also played for Sporting Fingal and Galway United in the League of Ireland.
"He can dictate the pace and flow of a game with the great range of passing," said Glens boss Alan Kernaghan.
Foley's arrival comes just a day after the east Belfast club signed former Rangers striker Nacho Novo.
The Dubliner has been capped at U16 and U17 level for the Republic of Ireland.
"Eric is the sort of player we have been looking for since I arrived at Glentoran," Kernaghan told the club website.
"He is also strong on set pieces and has an eye for goal from midfield. I am delighted he has chosen to join us."
