Midfielder Kenny Anderson has left Hearts by mutual consent, the club have announced.

The 23-year-old joined the Tynecastle side from RKC Waalwijk in February on an 18-month deal but has not featured so far this season.

He played nine times and scored once as Hearts won last season's Scottish Championship and promotion.

Born in the Netherlands, Anderson has a Scottish father and was capped at Under-17 level by Scotland.

He spent almost three years with RKC Waalwijk before moving to Hearts.

"The club thanks Kenny for his efforts and wishes him all the best in the future," Hearts said on their website.
