Guernsey FC captain Sam Cochrane says the club are capable of making the Isthmian League South play-offs.

The club won for the sixth time in seven games as they beat Tooting and Mitcham 6-2 to secure fifth place.

When asked if Guernsey could secure a play-off spot, Cochrane remarked: "Without a doubt, but we've got to keep our standard up.

"There's no doubt we have the quality to be in there, we're defending very well and we've worked extremely hard."

Guernsey are now five points clear of sixth-placed Faversham Town, but manager Tony Vance urged supporters not to get too carried away

"All we can do is try to sneak into those play-offs and at the moment we're in the right place," he told BBC Radio Guernsey.

"Everyone's got to be realistic, yes you can get excited with where we are, but it's March and April when it counts and we're only two or three losses away from slipping down, so we've just got to keep on winning."
