Nicola Anderson stepped down from her position as interim manager of Women's Super League Two side Everton Ladies.
Anderson took over the role in June after former boss Andy Spence resigned following his three years in charge.
She led the Blues to third in WSL 2 and lost one of her nine games in charge.
"The club would like to put on record its thanks for all of Nicola's efforts during her time with us and wish her the very best of luck," said a statement on the club website.
Everton have said they will make an announcement on a new manager in "due course."
