Bristol City striker Kieran Agard is relishing his first trip back to Rotherham United as the Robins look to continue their recent good league form.

The two sides meet in the Championship on Saturday with City unbeaten in three games and up to 19th in the table.

Agard, 26, reportedly rejected a move to Leeds in favour of City, when he left Rotherham last summer.

"I will approach the game as any other game but it will be good going back there," Agard told BBC Radio Bristol.

"A few players are still there I know but there have been a lot changes.

"I can speak to them after the game, after we have got the win."

Striker Agard has started three straight games for Steve Cotterill's side and scored his second goal of the season against Hull City in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Ashton Gate.

The former Everton trainee scored 14 goals for the Robins as they were crowned League One champions in 2014-15, but missed some of pre-season this year with a knee injury.

"It was very disappointing (being injured) but you have to stay positive and it can only make you stronger," he said.

"I have great people around me, family, friends, teammates, all the medical staff and I am thankful that I am fit now."
