Jordan Hugill: Preston North End striker signs new deal
Preston striker Jordan Hugill has signed a new two-and-a-half-year contract to run until 2018.
The 23-year-old moved to the Lilywhites from Port Vale in June last year and scored twice in six outings before loan spells at Tranmere and Hartlepool.
He has also scored twice so far this campaign, in League Cup games against Crewe and Bournemouth.
"When we signed Jordan we knew we were getting a raw, hungry young player," said manager Simon Grayson.
"Last season he did well for us when he was involved, contributing to the team, but it was a stop-start year because of his injury."
