Reading: Steve Clarke backs squad to start new unbeaten run
Reading manager Steve Clarke believes his squad have the character to bounce back after the home defeat by Derby.
Tom Ince's second-half strike for the Rams on Tuesday ended Reading's seven-game unbeaten run in all competitions.
Striker Orlando Sa was sent off before half-time for an incident off the ball, as Clarke's side fell to their first home loss of the season.
"I don't think it will knock the momentum of this side. There's great character among this group," he said.
"Good teams will lose games at times this season - it's important that we start up another run, starting at Bristol City on Saturday.
"I'm happy with the squad and I'm reasonably happy with my team. Everyone is working hard in training.
"The tempo and the attitude is right. Everyone I haven't selected has been tremendous and you can see that in the intensity of the substitutes when they come on."
