Neal Bishop: Scunthorpe player unhappy at loss to Blackpool

Scunthorpe midfielder Neal Bishop says his side's 1-0 home loss to Blackpool on Saturday was a "scandalous" result.

Brad Potts scored the only goal as the Tangerines won for the first time in 24 matches - their first away win since a 2-0 victory at Wigan in April 2014.

Scunthorpe are now 19th in League One and Bishop, who played for Blackpool before joining The Iron, was furious.

"For them to turn us over, I'm a bit embarrassed," the 34-year-old told BBC Radio Humberside.

"It's scandalous. We have to be so much better than we were. I'm really disappointed and we need to start putting things right."
