Tranmere Rovers must adapt to winning games again in the National League, says manager Gary Brabin.
Rovers, who dropped out of the Football League for the first time in their history last season, lost at home to Boreham Wood on Saturday.
"I'm really sorry I've given them their first defeat of the season," Brabin told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"I've took over a club that's had successive relegations and they're not used to winning football matches."
Brabin, 44, added he is optimistic for the campaign ahead.
"It's a big transition at the club," he continued. "We're certainly going to be winning more games then we're going to be losing this season."
