Manager Gary Mills says Wrexham fully deserve a couple of days off after they extended their winning run.
Dominic Vose's late goal secured Wrexham's fourth consecutive National League victory with a 1-0 win over Welling United.
Mills, who succeeded Kevin Wilkin as manager, praised the efforts of his players.
"They've been unbelievable the last four games and it's a credit to them," he said.
"It's not easy, especially when you've got 5,300 fans expecting you to win the game and wanting you to win the game.
"They've worked hard and worked hard in training. They're going to have a couple of days off now because they deserve it."
Mills's side remain third in the National League, three points behind leaders Forest Green, who maintained their 100% start to the season with a 3-1 win over Lincoln City.
Wrexham face second from bottom Halifax at home on Saturday before travelling to Cheltenham Town on Bank Holiday Monday.
