Kidderminster Harriers midfielder Jack Byrne has left the Conference club after rejecting a new contract.

Byrne, 25, scored 28 goals in 164 appearances for Kidderminster after signing from Redditch United in 2010.

He is now set to sign for Solihull Moors, who finished 12th in the Conference North in 2014-15.

"We'd have loved to have kept hold of him and made a good offer to try and ensure that happened," manager Gary Whild told the club's website.

"He's been terrific for this football club since he walked through the door and I know how much he has enjoyed it here. I'm sure all of the Kidderminster fans will wish him well."
