York City defender Daniel Parslow is set to leave the club after nine years.
Parslow, 29, scored four goals in 316 appearances for City and played a crucial role in York returning to the Football League in 2012.
The club opted not to renew his contract after he spent much of the 2014-15 season on loan at Grimsby.
Chairman Jason McGill told the club website: "I would like to thank Daniel for the nine years of exceptional service he has given to the club."
He added: "As well as his valuable on pitch contribution, Daniel has proved to be an exceptional individual off the field and we wish him the very best for the future."
