Cambridge United 3-1 Mansfield Town
Two goals from Sullay Kaikai helped Cambridge record a comfortable victory over lowly Mansfield.
Kaikai's thunderous 40-yard free-kick gave the U's the lead early on before he grabbed his second of the match with a well-placed finish.
Rakish Bingham capitalised on a poor back-pass from Josh Coulson to give Mansfield a lifeline midway through the second half.
Tom Elliott's powerful late header secured the win for Cambridge.
The result ended Cambridge's three-month wait for a home win and as both Cheltenham and Tranmere lost their respective matches, both the U's and Mansfield are assured of their League Two safety.
Mansfield Town manager Adam Murray told BBC Radio Nottingham:
"Today I think we have seen the reasons why we have been in a relegation battle this year.
"A large part of this group has gone through the trenches with each other for the cause. But in major areas we've been too weak.
"Be that tactically, mentally, physically we've been weak in too many areas and in vital areas. But I haven't learnt anything new from today's game; nothing has shocked or surprised me."
