Luke Varney and Richard Chaplow extend Ipswich Town loans
Ipswich Town have extended the loan deals of Blackburn striker Luke Varney and Millwall midfielder Richard Chaplow until the end of the season.
Both will stay with the Championship promotion chasers until 2 May, but there is the option to remain for the play-offs should Town make them.
Varney, 32, has made two starts and four substitute appearances for Town.
Chaplow, 30, has featured four times, and scored the late winner against Watford on Saturday.
Mick McCarthy, whose side are sixth in the table, recalled full-back Elliot Hewitt from his loan spell at Colchester United on Wednesday.
