Michael McCrudden salvaged a draw for Premiership basement boys Institute with an 80th-minute equaliser against Ballinamallard at Drumahoe.
Liam Martin curled his shot past keeper Marty Gallagher to put the visitors ahead after just 27 seconds.
The Mallards dominated the first half but Institute improved after the break with McCrudden poking home from Darren McFadden's pull-back.
Institute remain four points adrift of fellow strugglers Warrenpoint Town.
Ballinamallard made the perfect start with Martin beating three players before finding the bottom corner.
The visitors almost grabbed a second when Martin and James McKenna failed to connect with a dangerous Jay McCartney corner.
John Currie also went close for the Mallards while Robbie Hume curled his free-kick wide in a rare first-half opening for the hosts.
It was a more even affair in the second half with Ballinmallard threatening first through McCartney, and Gallagher made a vital save to deny Ryan Campbell.
Hume saw his volley superbly tipped over by Feargal Murphy while Gallagher made another fine save from David Kee's free-kick.
McCrudden met McFadden pass to send a 16-yard shot past Murphy and into the net to secure what could be a valuable point for Paul Kee's side in the relegation battle.
