Burton Albion duo Lee Bell and Ian Sharps have been told they can leave.

Midfielder Bell, 31, has only made one brief substitute appearance under new boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

Defender Sharps, 34, has played 86 games, 21 of them this season, but has not featured since Gary Rowett's exit.

"Lee wants to play so I have put him available for loan or permanent and Ian is not playing so I said I would look at loans or other interest," Hasselbaink told BBC Radio Derby.

"I had a chat with Ian that was a very difficult one, because he has been very important for the club, has been one of the leaders and has been one of the main people at the club."
