Conference side Woking have terminated the contract of injury-hit goalkeeper Aaron Howe by mutual agreement.

The 27-year-old, who has made 10 appearances for the Cards this season, suffered a broken pelvis in September.

"After battling against so many injuries during the past two years, I feel the time is right to take a break and let my body recover," he said.

"This is a sad day for me. The friendships I have made will last forever."

Howe came through Woking's academy but left the club to join Carshalton Athletic in March 2007.

Following a spell with Hayes and Yeading he rejoined the Surrey club from Havant & Waterlooville in 2011. He made a total of 94 appearances during his time at Kingfield.
