Match ends, Dundee 1, Inverness CT 2.
Ryan Christie's late strike propelled Inverness back into second place in the Scottish Premiership after a victory over Dundee.
The hosts went ahead when Greg Stewart anticipated the flight of Gary Harkins' free-kick to tap in at the back post.
But Inverness levelled when Dundee's defence hesitated, allowing Billy McKay to dink home.
It seemed a draw was inevitable, but Christie got the deftest of touches to Marley Watkins' pass to secure victory.
The Highlanders overtake Dundee United, who beat Ross County on Friday, and sit three points behind leaders Celtic.
Dundee started brightly with David Clarkson keen to beat Johnny Bell's 94-year-old club record of scoring in nine consecutive matches.
But it was Stewart who reacted first to meet Harkins' back-post delivery and give the hosts the lead.

Inverness should have been ahead by then, though. Josh Meekings had got on the end of a Greg Tansey corner but powered a header against the bar from six yards with goalkeeper Scott Bain stranded.
The visitors did level the contest, though, when the ball broke towards McKay, who found the right-hand corner from eight yards.
Clarkson failed to score the goal he craved and Dundee will feel disappointed after a strong performance in a thoroughly entertaining match.
But the limelight fell on Inverness substitute Christie. Watkins sent a dangerous low ball across goal, where Christie had arrived to guide a finish past Bain.
The late win demonstrated the strength and depth at John Hughes' disposal in a game where they did not hit the heights of recent performances.
