Motherwell defender Adam Cummins has joined Ayr United on a one-month loan.
The 21-year-old has not featured for the Steelmen so far this season, having spent time on loan at Dundee last season.
Injury problems have prohibited the Englishman's first-team opportunities in recent months.
"It's been a hugely frustrating time for me of late, so I am looking forward to going out on loan and, hopefully, playing some games," he said.
And he added on Motherwell's website: "I am looking forward to the challenge that playing for Ayr United will bring. They are only a few points off a play-off spot, so if I can help in any way, that'll work for everyone.
"I know a few of the lads there already like Dale Shirkie, Nicky Devlin and Craig Beattie, so I hope it won't take long for me to settle in.
"Most importantly though is that I get back to playing regular football on a Saturday and get as sharp as I can be."
