Tom Bender: Dartford bring in ex-Millwall defender

Bender has represented Wales at Under-21 level

Conference side Dartford have signed former Colchester, Accrington and Millwall defender Tom Bender.

The 21-year-old, who had a loan spell at Welling United last season, was a free agent after leaving Championship side Millwall during the summer.

"Tom is comfortable playing at left-back or centre-half," Darts boss Tony Burman said.

"I feel that the signing of Tom will give us more competition for places in the defensive areas."
