Cambridge secured their first away win of the season as they produced a second-half comeback to beat Dagenham.
Luke Howell's header gave the Daggers a one-goal lead at the break.
The visitors levelled when Ryan Donaldson curled in an exquisite 25-yard free-kick and soon after Michael Nelson headed home for 2-1.
Ryan Bird made it 3-1 when he nodded in from close range, though the hosts made it a nervy finish with George Porter's close-range header.
