Swansea City midfielder Jose Canas has joined Spanish side Espanyol on a three-year deal.
The 27-year-old is moving back to La Liga on a free transfer after just over 12 months at the Liberty Stadium.
Canas was signed by Michael Laudrup on a free transfer in June 2013 after his contract with Real Betis had expired.
He made 23 appearances for the Swans in 2013-2014 and his last competitive match for the club came in the 3-2 defeat at Everton in March.
The Betis youth academy product was one of a number of Spanish players to join Swansea in recent seasons along with Angel Rangel, Chico Flores, Pablo Hernandez, Jordi Amat, Alejandro Pozuelo and Michu.
With Canas's departure, only 31-year-old defender Rangel and 22-year-old Jordi Amat remain in south Wales from the Spanish contingent.
Flores, 27, joined former boss Laudrup in Qatar when he signed for Lekhwiya SC, 29-year-old Pablo Hernandez also moved to the Middle East country when he joined Al-Arabi.
Meanwhile, 19-year-old midfielder Kris Scott has joined Leicester City on a free transfer.
The USA Under-20 cap has been involved in the Swansea Under-21 side since arriving at the Liberty Stadium from Stoke City.
